What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at Mondi?
Your Task
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Performing visual inspection of paper bags for quality, specifically checking for defects ensuring they are properly folded, glued, and printed according to work order specifications
- Stacking finished bags
- Maintaining a safe, clean work environment
- Performing general labor tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all plant rules and safety regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Your Profile:
- High school diploma/GED
- Must be dependable and able to work a rotating Midnight, Afternoon, and Day shift (MAD)
- Standing and walking up to 100% of the time
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. By hand frequently
- Ability to use a tape measure and other hand tools
- Must be physically and mentally active and alert
- 0-2 years manufacturing experience; mechanical and industrial skills helpful

- $17.43 per hour to start plus shift differential for afternoon and midnight
- Monday - Friday Schedule
