Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Audio Visual System Engineer
to design, configure, and maintain AV systems for our diverse client base. This role requires a technical expert with a knack for problem-solving and a drive to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
System Design :
Develop detailed AV system designs tailored to client needs, including schematics, layouts, and hardware specifications.Programming and Configuration :
Program and configure AV control systems, such as Q-SYS, Conference Room Solutions, and Dante, ensuring seamless integration.Installation Support :
Oversee or assist in the physical installation of AV equipment, including displays, projectors, sound systems, and conferencing tools.Troubleshooting :
Diagnose and resolve technical issues in both new and existing AV systems, ensuring optimal functionality.Client Interaction :
Collaborate with clients to understand requirements, provide training on systems, and offer ongoing support.Team Collaboration :
Work closely with project managers, technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.Documentation :
Create and maintain detailed system documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and user guides.Required Qualifications
Experience :
Minimum 4 years of experience in audio-visual system design, programming, and integration.Certifications : Q-SYS Level 2Dante Level 3Technical Knowledge :
Proficiency in Netgear AV switches, Visionary Solutions, Samsung displays, and conference room integration.Skills : Strong understanding of AV protocols and networking principles.Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
CTS or CTS-D Certification.Experience with large-scale AV installations.Familiarity with Visio / AutoCAD or similar design tools.
