Compensation Range: $35-45/hr W2
Job Description:
The Energy Efficiency Consultant will lead the Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Program, managing all aspects from design and development to marketing and implementation. This role will work closely with customers, communities, and partners to ensure program success, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement. The consultant will oversee vendor relationships, financial performance, and operational performance, and report to state regulators as required.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation and monitoring of the EV Charging Program in CT.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to refine and execute optimal charging strategies.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies.
- Work with stakeholders to raise awareness of the EV Charging Program across various communities.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee RFP processes for outside vendors.
- Track and report financial and operational performance of the program.
- Develop customer education materials and manage payments to customers.
- Assist with the continuous improvement of program operations.
Must-Haves
- 3 years of experience managing complex, customer-facing programs.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Public Policy, Financial or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of clean energy policy and program management.
- Understanding of electric vehicle charging systems, utility demand reduction programs, and load profiling.
- Ability to use standard PC desktop applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience presenting to regulators.
Nice-to-Haves
- Master's Degree (preferred).
- Experience with EV charging technology.
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial reporting best practices.
