Job Description:Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their Digital Disposal Applications Team. This team is working on a project to enhance their Point-of-Sale and environmental compliance system, Fastlane, with the goal of improving customer experience, invoicing visibility, and pricing rate changes. The role requires collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders to ensure the success of the workflow and application deployment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with users to gather and document business and user requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Maintain and update project documentation repositories.
- Create workflow diagrams and screen mockups.
- Act as a liaison between technology and business groups to develop new systems or enhance existing ones.
- Conduct advanced business process analysis, needs assessments, and cost/benefit analysis.
- Lead business user acceptance efforts.
- Review progress and ensure results are accurate and efficient.
- Resolve issues within the department and work with external teams as needed.
- Track issues to resolution with cross-functional collaboration.
- Monitor workflow to ensure project and daily work requirements are met.
- Work with Dev and testing teams to explain requirements, perform sanity checks, and review test cases.
- Write acceptance criteria for stories and defects.
Must-Haves:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a business analyst in an application development environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Expertise in creating use cases and test case documentation.
- Experience in all phases of the project development lifecycle in a large team setting (> 5 members).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Nice-to-Haves:
- CBAP or CCBA certification.
- Experience in a Quality Assurance role or closely interacting with QA teams.
- Experience with training and creating training documentation.
- Background in coding or software development.
- Data analysis or database skills (e.g., MS SQL, Oracle).
- User Interface/User Experience design experience.
Salary : $50 - $60
