About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Software Project Manager with a strong background in software development and a deep understanding of Agile methodologies to lead and drive multiple software development teams to successful product releases. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on involvement in Agile facilitation, project coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scrum Facilitation:
- Act as a servant-leader and Agile facilitator for three or more software development teams. Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Project Leadership:
- Provide clear direction and leadership to software teams, helping them navigate challenges and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Remove Obstacles:
- Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve impediments that block progress. Collaborate across departments to maintain resource alignment and streamline communication.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Ensure effective communication between developers, product owners, stakeholders, and other project contributors. Support transparency and accountability throughout all stages of the development lifecycle.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Coach teams on Agile best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance team performance and product quality.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a software developer (designing, building, testing, or delivering software products)
- 5 years of proven success as a Software Project Manager or Scrum Master leading Agile software teams through full development cycles
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to build trust and alignment across teams
- Ability to manage multiple teams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- PMP certification
- Experience in a startup or high-growth software company environment
Salary : $130,000 - $145,000
