Job Title: Transportation Operations Manager
Location-Type: Onsite (Westborough, MA)

Duration: Permanent (37.5 hours/ week)
Compensation Range: $20-25 /hour benefits
Job Description:
Ensure the safety, compliance, and operational excellence of transit services by supervising drivers, conducting field audits, and providing hands-on coaching.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-shift safety checks and greet drivers at the start of their shifts.
- Perform on-the-road supervision, including ride-alongs and vehicle audits.
- Provide coaching and support to drivers, addressing any issues or concerns.
- Manage incident responses and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Utilize Jira to track tasks and document completed activities.
- Travel to nearby locations (e.g., Salem, Newbury) as needed.
- Collaborate with the Field Manager and other team members to maintain service quality.
Requirements:
Must-Haves:
- Experience in transit supervision, transportation management, or a similar field.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make quick, effective decisions.
- Proficiency with technology, including mobile devices and task management tools like Jira.
- Access to a personal vehicle and willingness to travel within the Greater Boston area.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience as a Road Supervisor or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with fleet compliance and vehicle maintenance procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
