What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Actions Analyst - Hedge Fund - Up to $300k TC position at Mondrian Alpha?
A major, global multi-strategy hedge fund are looking to hire an individual into a ‘Corporate Actions SME’ role for its US business, based out of their rapidly expanding New York office.
The firm currently have a sizeable operations team in New York and similar to its overseas HQ they will now look to create specialised functions within operations / middle office - the new hire will be the SME for the corporate actions remit specific to its US business. This is a high volume, complex, multi-asset business, where the hire must be prepared to work a hands-on corporate actions processing remit, whilst also being the point of escalation both internally and externally for the CA remit (for example taking ownership for managing relationships with in-house traders and external prime brokers). The role has the potential to work its way up to a US Corporate Actions Manager role, supervising 1-2 juniors within a couple of years.
Candidates must be corporate actions specialists from either hedge fund or IB backgrounds, with roughly 3-6yrs experience, but we can certainly consider candidates either side of this banding. Our client favours candidates with strong academic profiles and advanced tech skills.
The role is budgeted to pay a $250-300k year-one TC, however it is the first hire of its kind in New York and so there is potential flexibility.
Salary : $250,000 - $300,000
