Our client, a fast-growing global credit hedge fund managing over $10bn in AUM, is seeking a Head of Investor Relations Strategy to join its asset-raising team in a newly created, high-impact role. Reporting directly to the COO, this individual will be instrumental in shaping and optimizing the firm’s fundraising and investor relations efforts.
Working closely with a highly regarded team of sales professionals and client service specialists, the Head of Strategy will drive key initiatives to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and overall success of the asset-raising function. This role is pivotal to the firm’s growth, ensuring that strategic opportunities are identified, developed, and executed upon to support continued expansion.
This is a broad and dynamic position encompassing forward planning for new fund launches, analysing sales team KPIs, refining processes, optimizing allocator analysis, and developing innovative sales strategies. The successful candidate will work alongside the COO, helping to execute upon high-priority initiatives that enhance the firm’s investor engagement and capital-raising capabilities.
This individual will also take ownership of sales and relationship management for certain institutional investors across the East Coast.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the alternative investment space—though hedge fund experience is not a prerequisite—and exposure to the sales process. Additionally, they will be adept at leveraging cutting-edge technology to modernize systems and improve workflows, ensuring the firm remains at the forefront of asset-raising innovation.
