My client, a leading multi-strategy hedge fund, is seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to joined their technology team in New York.
My client is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their technology team, collaborating closely with all areas of the firm. In this role, the successful individual will play a pivotal part in optimizing and maintaining infrastructure, managing and enhancing the Linux environment, and driving automation initiatives to improve system efficiency and observability.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Linux fundamentals, along with experience in SQL and relational databases. Proficiency in system automation and infrastructure as code is essential.
- Deep knowledge of the Linux operating system fundamentals
- Experience with using SQL and relational databases ie: Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MS SQL
- System monitoring
- Experience with system automation and configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform
- Familiar with CI/CD pipeline
- Programming experience in Python
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
