What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Analyst – Hedge Fund (Fixed Income)- $250-300k TC position at Mondrian Alpha?
A multi-billion dollar AUM, fixed income strategy hedge fund, rapidly developing its presence in New York, are looking to make a newly created senior operations analyst hire.
Joining a small, specialist team, in a flat structure, the hire will run a broad hybrid operations / trader assistant remit (trade capture, trade bookings, position recs, corporate actions, P&L analysis etc.), facing off to a high-profile portfolio management team / exceptional traders.
As the New York office is still in ‘expansion mode’, the hire can expect to work on multiple infrastructure development & automation projects ad-hoc tasks / projects work for the traders that they face-off to.
The ideal candidate will have roughly 7-12yrs relevant experience in operations / trade support, however we can consider exceptional individuals with less experience to step up. There is a preference for buy-side specialists, but we can still consider IB candidates. Candidates should also ideally have a cross-asset background, with a weighting towards credit / fixed income derivatives.
The role is expected to pay a strong performer a $250-300k TC.
