A world leading high frequency trading fund are seeking a skilled site reliability / trading systems engineer to join the business and aid in all things reliability, maintenance, improvement and support of their low latency trading platforms.
The team in question is global and supports the entirety of the companies trading platform, you can expect to work on "real-time" issues and maintenance along with lengthier project work to ensure stable improvement along with reducing latency.
- You'll work to minimize downtime for trading systems.
- Monitor and maintain critical trading systems.
- Design automated systems to detect and recover from failures quickly.
- Optimize latency and throughput for colocated trading systems.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with developers and quants.
- Performance monitoring and optimization.
Prior experience working in a trading firm is preferred but candidates from outside of industry can be considered for the right experience. Very strong python and linux is required for this role.
Salary : $400,000
