A global hedge fund are looking to hire a trade support analyst specific to its US swaps trading business, working in a small team of SME’s that sit on the trading floor in the firm’s recently opened, rapidly expanding Manhattan office.
Whilst ‘operations’ in title, the remit combines middle office & trader assistant tasks – core to the role are trade bookings, trade capture / trade matching, investigating breaks / P&L issues, working closely to the treasury team and prime brokers responsibilities. Working on continuous process improvement / automation projects taking on a variety of ad-hoc tasks & projects from senior management traders is also prevalent in the role. It is a business facing position, with high level exposure to multiple investment professionals.
Candidates should ideally have 2-5yrs experience, from either a hedge fund, IB, or fund administrator. A strong knowledge of / experience in swaps is required. Excellent communication skills and an ability to work well in a front office environment are a pre-requisite.
The role is targeted to pay a year one $150-175k TC.
The firm offer WFH flexibility – it possible to work a 3 day office / 2 day wfh week, if you choose to.
