Monett R-I School District Assistant Superintendent - 2025/2026
The Monett R-I School District is seeking a progressive and collaborative educational leader for the position of Assistant Superintendent for the 2025-2026 school year.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Support for the execution of the district’s vision and direction for improving instructional quality for all students.
Lead the development, alignment, and integration of the district’s curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional learning programs.
Analyze student performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with district leadership to set data-informed goals and monitor progress.
Establish academic growth targets at the district and building level.
Oversight and compliance of district Federal Title Programs.
Is skilled in proactively coaching leaders for the purpose of continuously improving academic achievement, and the school climate/culture.
Supports and develops school leaders by monitoring progress linked to metrics.
Supports the implementation of instructional strategies for the purposes of meeting the needs of the district’s diverse learners.
Enjoys being visible and observes the teaching and learning process at the classroom level for the purpose of staying attune to the needs of teachers and students.
Participates in community engagement for the purposes of advocating for identified priorities and increasing community support.
Represents the district as assigned by the Superintendent; serves as an advisor for various issues; and makes public presentations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Doctorate Degree preferred.
Five years of relevant school leadership experience.
Currently possesses or is eligible to obtain Missouri State Superintendent Certification.
Candidates must be skilled in collaborative leadership possessing the ability to earn trust and build consensus with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
