What are the responsibilities and job description for the Daycare Caregiver - 2024/2025 position at Monett RI School District?
The Monett R-1 School District is seeking a full-time Daycare Caregiver for the daycare center located at the Monett Elementary School for the 2024 / 2025 school year, with duties to begin after on-boarding paperwork is completed. The work schedule is 8 : 00 a.m. - 4 : 30 p.m M-F per the academic calendar.
Applicants should possess good record-keeping skills to maintain daily records of children's activities, behaviors, meals, naps, diapering, and toilet training. Candidates must provide nurturing support and have an inclusive approach to all children plus be able to engage in hands-on activities that introduce new experiences to infants and toddlers. Candidates need to be able to follow curriculum and a daily schedule as well as have the capability to attend to an individual child's needs while simultaneously taking care of other children. Applicants need to be able to perform daily duties including but not limited to : feeding, diapering, toilet training, monitoring nap time, sanitizing classrooms and equipment.
Additional qualifications include : love for children, strong and positive work ethic, pleasant and effective communication skills, and the ability to work with infants and toddlers on a daily basis. Work hours may vary. Applicants must be willing to work well and collaborate with staff members and families of the daycare enrollees.
