Monett High School is seeking applicants for the position of MHS Defensive Assistant (Defensive Backs) Football Coach for the 2025-2026 school year. MHS is a member of the Big 8 Conference. MHS has a long tradition of excellence in Football, boasting 3 State Championship seasons. Preferred characteristics for individuals interested in the position include : successful experience as a football coach or coordinator, demonstrated ability to lead young men both on and off the field, ability to work effectively with a quality coaching and teaching staff, and excellent interpersonal skills. This position will be responsible for developing and preparing the defensive backs aligned with our defensive strategy, as well as assisting in developing and implementing practice and game plans, and off-season lifting / conditioning. This coaching opportunity can be tied to a full time teaching position, depending on availability. #PurpleReign
