Typical Work Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday

Monex USA is looking for a bright, skilled, and highly motivated Operations Specialist to support the Monex team by providing consistent and reliable transaction services to customers. This includes the processing of settlements and payables, monitoring and reconciliation of bank account credit and debit activity, and review of transaction details and instructions.

Responsibilities
- Monitoring intraday bank activity using online banking and bank statements.
- Troubleshooting and investigating payment issues with our banking partners.
- Entering and verifying the format of beneficiary bank details.
- Posting and processing of wires, checks, and ACH debit payments.
- Batching and release of outbound wire and ACH credit payments.
- Bank account reconciliation.
- Review and verification of counterparty trades.
- Coordinating with internal departments on exception and problem payments.
- 4-year college degree.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Extremely detail oriented.
- Understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and attitude.
- Ability to work independently.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience in banking, financial services, and/or accounting.
- Bilingual: English/Spanish.
- This is a temporary contractor position paid at an hourly rate of $35.00/hour. The contractor will not be eligible for company benefits and will be classified as a 1099 independent contractor.
