The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce development, with a focus on customizing and optimizing Salesforce solutions to meet unique stakeholder needs. As a Salesforce Developer, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable Salesforce solutions. Responsibilities
- Work closely with our Sales, Operations, Client Services, Compliance and Marketing teams to efficiently develop Salesforce software solutions to increase business effectiveness.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
- Work closely with our Business Analyst and business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications and Salesforce solutions.
- Coordinate with other Monex companies to collectively build global Salesforce components.
- Implement and maintain integration between Salesforce and other systems, such as ERP, trading platforms, or third-party applications.
- Customize and extend Salesforce functionality through the development of custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and process automation.
- Optimize system performance and ensure data integrity by identifying and resolving technical issues and implementing best practices.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and proactively recommend improvements and enhancements to our Salesforce instance.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing activities to ensure high-quality deliverables and maintain a robust Salesforce development environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4 years of Experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with corporate Salesforce development and implementations.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and SOSL.
- Experience with Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot).
- Experience with Tableau and embedding Tableau views in Salesforce.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce integrations, including REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
- Solid understanding of the Salesforce security model, data modeling, and deployment processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with Jira or similar Issue and Project Tracking Software.
- Salesforce Developer certification(s) such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II.
- Experience with Salesforce development and implementations for global enterprises.
- Experience with Salesforce Einstein for Sales.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience working in the financial services industry, particularly within foreign exchange, core banking or payments.
