Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000

We're looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in New York as part of our Sales function.

Your Role:  You will join our team in New York as Business Development Manager and become an integral part of our Global Sales function.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Meet and exceed quarterly and yearly revenue targets and KPIs

  • Drive new business revenue across multiple revenue lines for the US event within key accounts, markets and industry sectors that represent opportunity for revenue growth

  • Arrange & attend meetings with senior prospects, making C-Level presentations, drafting proposals and contract documents and consistent networking within the industry

  • Produce detailed proposal presentations for clients and developing new inventory and tailored commercial solutions from across the Money20/20 portfolio

  • Negotiate deals and close contract sales on a timely basis

  • Develop category-level expertise within assigned sectors

  • Provide accurate reporting within our CRM tool to fully track all customer engagement and pipeline progress 

  • Work with internal product teams to create and refine new opportunities for revenue growth based on market need

  • Liaise with internal teams, including marketing, creative & finance

  • You are a connector, working hard to ensure people and projects are not inadvertently siloed or silenced

Your Experience

  • Experience in a sales or a sales focused customer facing environment with evidence of demonstrable success and growth necessary.

  • Interest and/or experience in the tech, finance and event industries (background related to finance strongly preferred)

  • Strong customer service ethic, desire to go the extra mile to surpass client expectations

  • Strong communication skills, both for writing and presenting to senior-level executives

  • Good research skills

  • History of using Salesforce

  • Strong familiarity with MS Office & Google Workspace

Ascential anticipates in good faith that the position shall be compensated at a base salary no lower than the posted minimum and no higher than the posted maximum. Each candidate's actual salary will be a function of the candidate’s qualifications, the locally competitive market rate and will be consistent with Ascential's internal approach to base salary compensation.
