HOW YOU WILL LEAD
As the Paper Products Account Manager, you will manage and maintain relationships with a significant base of money order agents, including major chains and financial institutions in the US and will be an advocate/voice of the agent within MoneyGram. They will work cross functionally as a paper product focused resource and will have strong system, analytical, and problem-solving skills to optimize operations, troubleshoot processing issues, and ensure seamless integration with banking partners. You will serve as the primary liaison between our paper product customers and internal teams to improve efficiency and mitigate risk.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Manage and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with key retail and financial institution agents and provide high quality agent-focused service.
- Implement account management strategies for product success/revenue growth and creating long-term relationships.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new agents, new locations, agreement renewals and other contractual changes.
- Provide sales support to related sales team in terms of lead follow up and deal closing.
- Provide cross functional support regarding paper product knowledge.
- Work to streamline processes and identify opportunities.
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues and collaborate with IT, operations and other teams to enhance system functionality and customer facing product features.
- Coordinate and/or provide representation in related projects and initiatives to provide the voice of this agent base.
- Prepare business review materials, sales decks, internal reporting
- Leverage salesforce and other available databases to manage customer specific and transactional data and assist with prospect identification/lead generation.
WHO YOU ARE
- Minimum Required: BA/BS degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a servicing, account management or inside sales role (required)
- Experience working with large client base with multi-state or national presence, including experience with retail chains or financial institutions with large branch network (required)
- Experience with money order or check processing, banking related operations, cash management (preferred)
- This role requires a strong understanding of bank operations, clearing processes, check image exchange, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize own workload, work independently and liaison with a geographically dispersed team.
- First class interpersonal skills, able to build and maintain client relationships over the telephone and in person.
- Strong presentation skills; ability to present to various levels, including C-suite, in a professional format.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills: able to effectively and proactively identify and analyze problems and find appropriate solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying opportunities for improvement in processes.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and meeting platforms (Zoom/Webex, etc.)
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite of packages.
- Proficiency in financial systems, banking platforms, and check processing technologies. Demonstrated ability to learn new technology.
LOCATION
Remote Flexible in the USA. While it offers remote flexibility, candidates must reside in the USA.
SALARY
Anticipated Base Pay: Starting at $77,000 and participation in our annual bonus plan. We are open to going significantly higher based on your experience and skill set
