Moneypenny is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager who will play an integral role in helping the organization to grow the Home Services Sector from client acquisition, development and retention targets. In this role, you will play an integral role in helping Moneypenny achieve our client acquisition, development, and retention targets. Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a business development plan to grow our client base and services in the Home Services sector, partnering with cross-functional teams and executive leaders for alignment and delivery.
- Partner with marketing, other sales functions, account management, operations, and other support functions to optimize the end-to-end client journey and associated experience for Home Services prospects and clients.
- Drive client acquisition, account development, and client retention in the Home Services sector to exceed monthly and quarterly sales/revenue targets.
- Establish, maintain, and grow rich network and industry knowledge/credibility within the Home Services sector and the broader ecosystem in which the sector resides.
- Nurture and develop existing clients to stabilize and expand relationships, support positive brand reputation, gain referrals, and identify new product/feature opportunities.
- Leverage consultative sales approach to shape and convert complex deals with various players in the Home Services sector ecosystem, including negotiation of multi-year contractual service agreements.
- Identify internal and external themes that generate pain points and potential moments of delight for prospects and clients, maximizing client NPS and LTV.
- Participate in-person at industry, client, and other events/forums to generate new relationships and strengthen existing ones.
- Engage in client business reviews and other forums to re-enforce value proposition and manage expectations while identifying and converting opportunities for relationship expansions.
- Demonstrate a strong presence on social media to support the growth of the line of business.
- Analyze and report on performance, KPIs, and other benchmarks to empower decision-making across functions and by executive leadership.

- Confident delivering formal and informal presentations both internally and externally at all levels.
- Skilled in building relationships with key suppliers and influencers around the Sector who in turn become advocates and host joint events.
- Demonstrates the ability to listen, question and assimilate and then to present a relevant and attractive proposal.
- Technical understanding as well as deep experience with sales tools for reporting, prospecting and deal management (including CRM), (e.g., Power BI, Salesloft, Zoom Info and Microsoft Office (PPT, XLS, WORD) required.
- Must be willing to travel up to 50%.
