Title: Junior Software Testing Engineer
Location: Duluth, GA
The role:
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of performance and functionality. Your foundational understanding of software testing will be essential as you engage in various testing activities. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues while actively participating in the testing process.
Key responsibilities:
Test Planning and Execution:
- Review software requirements and assist in creating test plans and cases.
- Execute manual test cases to verify software functionality.
- Perform manual API testing to validate request/response behaviors.
- Document and report defects using bug-tracking tools (DevOps preferred).
- Work with developers to troubleshoot and validate fixes.
Automation Testing (Cypress):
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress for front-end testing.
- Execute and analyze test automation results.
Collaboration and Learning:
- Work closely with senior testers, developers and product managers to improve software quality.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, including stand-ups and sprint planning.
- Continuously learn and stay updated on software testing best practices.
Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
- Familiarity with Cypress for test automation, prior experience is a plus but not required.
- Some experience with JavaScript or willingness to learn for Cypress test scripting.

- Good communication skills to work effectively within a team.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related field, or equivalent practice experience.
- Experience through internships or hands-on involvement in software testing, or relevant academic projects.
