Production Manager

Moneysworth Linen Services in a state of the art industrial laundry facility located in Elizabeth City, NC, providing commercial linen processing services to hospitals, hotels, resorts, and beach rentals throughout Virginia and North Carolina.
Position Summary: The Production Manager is responsible for supervising production staff while managing labor utilization and production efficiency.
Job Functions:
-Lead, train, and supervise the production staff, including production leads
-Lead, motivate, and provide direction in a positive manner
-Organize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously
-Support company and departmental goals
-Responsible for working with human resources on all new hire training, consistently conducting regular and ongoing training in all departments
-Responsible for adherence to, implementing and execution of company production policies, procedures, and standards
-Responsible for ensuring that industry standards for production, quality, housekeeping, and safety are met
-Responsible for following written and verbal instructions, attend meetings, and perform other tasks as directed by supervision
-Collaborate with and support other organizational personnel as required by supervision
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate would have a minimum of five years of business management experience in a similar production environment. Applicants should possess strong supervisory management, organizational, time management, and communication skills. The candidate must have the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff. The position requires interaction and cooperation with other production managers. Development of good rapport and positive working relationships is imperative. Ability to converse in Spanish is desired, but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Standing, walking, grasping, moving equipment, pushing, pulling, moving loaded wheeled carts weighing up to 700 pounds, reading, speaking, hearing, and lifting up to 60 pounds.
Environmental Conditions:
Production areas of a typical industrial laundry facility will include variations in temperature, odors, humidity, lint, and dust.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
