With over 150 skilled tradesman throughout Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio and Northern West Virginia, Mongiovi & Son can handle any size project within any market sector.
The Assistant Project Manager will assist with overseeing all aspects of ongoing and new projects for the Fire Division. This position could involve working offsite at customer facilities from time to time.
Responsibilities Include:
- Communicate with team members and customers regarding project needs and updates
- Assist with creating job schedules, time frames, and deadlines.
- Attend job progress meetings and initiate change orders
- Analyze job cost reports
- Coordinate ordering and delivery of tools and job materials
- Define project requirements
- Meet with designers
- Manage Day to Day Operations of assigned projects and notify management of any potential delays/ issues
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to work on a ladder
- 40 hours per week
- Mechanical aptitude
- Problem solving ability and ability to work independently and as a team.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record a must
- Previous assistant project manager experience
- Knowledge of sprinkler systems / plumbing and previous construction experience a plus
- Willingness to learn
