A heavy equipment technician lead will be responsible for:
- Conducting regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation, and oil changes.
- Diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and other complex mechanical systems.
- Ensuring all work is performed safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Supervising junior technicians and providing guidance and training as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Diesel engine diagnostic and repair experience
- Knowledge of heavy-duty truck systems, including air brakes and electrical systems
- A clean driving record and CDL preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
