Preferred Experience:

• Professional Baking: Previous baking experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person.
• Decorating Skills: Experience in cake and cookie decorating

Essential Requirements:

• 21 years old or older
• Baking Love: Ready to bring your A-game with a positive attitude and excitement to grow your skills.
• Valid License & Reliable Vehicle: For occasional errands and deliveries.
• COVID-19 Vaccinated: Proof of vaccination status required.
• Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal skills are a must.
• Math & Measurements: Basic knowledge to ensure baking perfection.
• Adaptability:Ability to stay consistent in a changing environment and handle stressful situations with grace.
• Detail-Oriented:Able to focus on multiple tasks or projects.
• Willingness to Learn: Open to trying new things and stepping out of your comfort zone.

What You'll Do:

• Daily Baking: Start times vary from 4-6 am, with end times that also vary. Full availability required, especially during busy seasons.
• Team Collaboration: Work weekdays and Saturdays, with Sundays and Mondays off; this may change in the unforeseen future.
• Follow Regulations: Adhere to all local, state, and federal food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inventory & Quality Control: Monitor and maintain product quality, order supplies, and control costs.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Keep the kitchen clean and safe, using all equipment properly.
• Menu Planning: Help with daily, seasonal, and holiday menu planning.
• Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional service, answer questions, consult, and take orders.
• Community Involvement: Assist with catering, cooking classes, and other community projects.

COVID-19 Considerations:

We take COVID precautions seriously, following CDC recommendations. Masks are sometimes required, and we provide both surgical and N95 masks for all staff. Willingness to wear a mask during outbreaks is necessary.
