The ideal candidate will bring a strong programming foundation, a willingness to learn Business Central (training provided), and excellent communication skills to collaborate with users across all departments and management levels.
What You’ll Do
- Development & Enhancements: Design, develop, and implement low-risk or smaller-scope customizations and enhancements within Microsoft Dynamics Business Central to meet business needs.
- Reporting: Create and maintain reports using Business Central and SQL to support operational and analytical requirements.

- Code Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices.
- Integration Support: Maintain and troubleshoot existing integrations between Business Central and other systems, ensuring seamless functionality.
Expectations
- Programming Foundation: Bring general programming experience with a solid understanding of coding principles. Training will be provided to adapt to Business Central’s environment, though prior familiarity is a plus.

- Proactivity & Time Management: Work independently when needed, efficiently managing time and seeking out opportunities to improve processes or systems, even without direct assignment.

- Find a Way — You are willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish the job.

Other Qualifications & Considerations
- Education/Experience: A college degree in a programming-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering) OR at least 2 years of professional programming experience.
- Core Technologies: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365/Business Central and SQL is highly desirable but not required. (Note: Modern BC development aligns closely with traditional programming languages following last year’s upgrade.)
