Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director Commercial, Data to drive our efforts in identifying and closing data-driven marketing services deals with large enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of leveraging a robust network of industry relationships within the marketing departments of Fortune 500 brands to fast-track high-value opportunities and navigate complex enterprise sales cycles. This role will focus heavily on prospecting, building strategic relationships, and accelerating revenue growth by securing major enterprise accounts. The Commercial Director will own the deal lifecycle for our consulting and data service offerings spanning retained teams to fixed fee projects. You will be responsible for both generating leads as well as qualifying and closing inbound leads, managing pitch teams and scoping proposals, and working with our legal and technical teams to navigate complicated procurement processes through to initial contract signature. Once an account is onboarded you will manage client satisfaction with key stakeholders and work closely with the fulfillment teams to identify further room for growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify, target, and close deals with large enterprises.
- Leverage an established network of industry connections to gain access to key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
- Proactively prospect and qualify high-value opportunities, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market positioning.
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with enterprise clients, acting as a trusted advisor and partner. Manage complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles from initial engagement through contract negotiation and closure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product, customer success) to tailor solutions to meet enterprise client needs.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and inform sales strategies.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to senior leadership.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and credibility.

120,000 - $140,000 per year
Additional Compensation
This role may also include a bonus or commission of up to $140,000 annually, based on performance.
