Who You Are
The Payroll/Billing Assistant is responsible for supporting the processing of payroll and client billing, maintaining payroll and billing records and communicating effectively with employees and clients. The Payroll/Billing Assistant will be detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and ensuring compliance. This position will also support the processing and reconciliation of client claims with the insurance carrier and provide other administrative support as needed.
What You'll Do
- Process and manage payroll for designated group of employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Review clinician daily sheets and work with clinicians to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Create, maintain and distribute clinician billing reports.
- Process and manage client billing including resolving discrepancies and responding to inquiries as needed.
- Research and resolve client insurance claim issues.
- Assist in resolving any financial discrepancies.
- Part-time, 20-25 hours, 3 days per week
- Hybrid schedule, 2 days in office, 1 day from home
What You Bring
- Minimum of 5 years office management experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, knowledge of payroll systems preferable.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a passion for accuracy and thoroughness in financial and insurance related transactions and records.
- Strong time-management skills, able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well on a team or individually.
- Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive financial and client information.
