Main responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the maintenance and upkeep of work areas, equipment, and supplies
- Cleaning and sanitizing work areas and equipment
- Delivering and picking up trays to patients according to departmental policy
- Informing nursing personnel when a patient requires assistance or has questions that cannot be answered by food service staff
- Listening to patients and communicating their concerns to the Diet Office
