The Monmouth Medical Center seeks a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Physicist to join its Radiation Oncology Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the technical aspects of quality control, ensuring accurate dose prescriptions and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists in meeting NJ State and NRC regulations for patient treatment and safety
- Collaborates with Dosimetrists on treatment planning and calculations
- Participates in yearly and monthly calibrations of Linear Accelerators
- Plans HDR brachytherapy cases and performs HDR calibrations
Requirements:
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Radiation Science, Health Physics, or equivalent
- Two years of experience in clinical Radiation Therapy
- Eligible for ABR certification in related Medical physics specialty
