What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager position at Monmouth Medical Center?
Job Overview :
Manages the Environmental, OR EVS, and Linen Departments in absence of Director and Assistant Director. Assists with Establishing policies and procedures, objectives, work standards and Patient Satisfaction initiatives. Maintains quality control and compliance with regulatory agencies. Directly manages Supervisory and Lead personnel. Manages daily department standards.
Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors / walls / ceiling tiles / unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.
Ensure that department is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations.
Qualifications : Required :
- High School Diploma
- Knowledge of hospital operations and specific kinds of housekeeping
- Knowledge of housekeeping equipment, supplies, and chemical agents
- Management and supervisory skills
- Sufficient administrative experience in a hospital or similar setting
