What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services position at Mono County Office Of Education?
Under the general direction of the County Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent will provide leadership and training within the County Office of Education and throughout the county. The Assistant Superintendent administers and is responsible for the Educational Services programs from Early Learning through Adult Education, while overseeing and ensuring efficient, high-quality operation of various COE programs, grants and partnerships, as well as direct support to the districts. The Assistant
Superintendent further ensures healthy partnerships with local, regional and state level agencies in order to collaborate and advocate for the needs of local districts, students and families. -Possession of a valid California Administrative Services and Teaching Credential required
-Masters Degree preferred
-Completion of Early Childhood Units or Possession of a valid California Early Childhood Permit
preferred
-Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
-Knowledge of the laws and rules as they relate to areas of responsibility required
-Three years experience as an administrator
Salary : $134,076 - $174,939
