What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Learning Family Services Coordinator – Bilingual position at Mono County Office Of Education?
Under the supervision of the Early Learning and Care Director, or designee, the Early Learning Family Services Coordinator administers, develops, implements, monitors, evaluates and reports on the Resource and Referral (R&R), Child Care Training, Alternative Payment (CAPP), and any other Community Connections or Early Learning and Care Programs as assigned. General duties include coordination of communications, provision of resources and information to meet needs and assure smooth and efficient program activities, including coaching and evaluation of program staff. This position is contingent upon continuation of grant funding and or enrollment. Further, the Early
Learning Family Services Coordinator ensures through staff training or direct support that proper assistance is provided to community members, childcare providers and families on childcare and early learning issues and acts as an advocate for children and families by ensuring that the appropriate referrals and services are obtained by clients and providers.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) - Write and speak fluently in both English and Spanish to a professional level- Ability to plan, direct, delegate, evaluate and supervise the work of others
- Thorough understanding of contract compliance, budgeting and reporting
- Administrative, program development and grant-writing skills
- Strong organization skills and keen attention to detail
Salary : $63,874 - $90,260
