Position Overview:
The Senior Analyst, IT Business and Operations Systems will be instrumental in optimizing business operations by integrating Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing systems, effectively “connecting the dots” between these critical areas. This role will act as a liaison between business operations and the IT department, supporting the implementation of process enhancements, technology solutions, and data-driven improvements. The Senior Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the company’s IT vision, contribute to system scalability initiatives, and support adherence to security protocols. This position reports directly to the Senior Director, IT Applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders to facilitate continuous improvement of application capabilities through standardization, improvements, and configuration changes
- Interpret current Business and Manufacturing Systems Architecture and collaborate on recommendations for Industry 4.0 Transformations across PLC/SCADA/MES/ERP technology layers.
- Collaborate on complex manufacturing and business processes to improve and integrate new systems or functionality with existing ones, ensuring alignment with long-term business and IT strategies.
- Champion the review of application exceptions, analyze information to assist business teams in identifying root causes, and oversee resolutions.
- Follow established processes to identify requirements, specifications, and training plans aligned with business objectives and best practices.
- Create and maintain documentation for all related activities.
- Design and document test plans for all changes, perform unit testing, and oversee end-user testing.
- Serve as a liaison between development teams and internal/external business partners.
- Develop conversion and system implementation plans.
- Generate project documentation to support planning and delivery.
- Plan, organize, and manage reporting and application development support activities, including: tracking progress and communicating milestones, escalating issues, setting a high standard of customer support, understanding issue root causes, and implementing preventative/corrective actions.
- Work independently or as part of a team to provide valuable solutions.
- Communicate clearly with business partners, IT team members, and management.
- Work with users at all levels of the organization.
- Provide project management for Information Technology initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have the following:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 5 years of analysis experience.
- 5 years of application support and configuration experience (ERP, Supply Chain, OEE/MES are a plus)
- 4 years of experience working with end-users to define business requirements.
- 3 years of experience with IT projects and/or multi-project oversight.
- Experience with Application Programming is a plus.
- Experience working with applications and users remotely is a plus.
- Experience documenting business and IT processes preferred.
- Familiarization with ISA-95.
