Your Role:
Reporting to the QA Manager, this position will organize and oversee the testing of all samples coming into the lab. This person will be the primary contact related to lab analysis methods and results. The Lab Supervisor will assist with data entry of sample information and track samples through the database and ensures completion of sample processing including the reporting process.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervises lab team members working in the finish product testing lab.
- Maintains schedules and assures coverage of all shifts.
- Provides training to lab technicians on all required tasks.
- Maintains accurate and timely data and reporting.
- Troubleshoots sample anomalies.
- Creates customer reports and COAs.
- Maintains good communication with all departments and assists with timely flow of results and data.
- Orders supplies and responsible for maintaining stocks.
- Shares daily workload. Uses time wisely. Provides a productive atmosphere. Manages specialty areas and/or assignments.
- Contributes to good employee relationships and provides for team member development.
- Has the ability to accommodate a fast-paced schedule.
- Supports three shifts of team members.
- Responsible for maintaining equipment and calibration status of equipment.
- Other duties as assigned by the HACCP.

The ideal candidate will have the following:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and with at least 3 years’ experience in a laboratory setting.
- Excellent computer skills: mastery of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a team environment and diverse workforce.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written communication skills to maintain a strong line of communication with all departments and between shifts.
- Must have demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills to make independent decisions and communicate proactively.
- Must be 18 years or older.
