Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner and always demonstrate a positive attitude.
- Work with management to assess daily needs.
- Direct the techs into appropriate workgroups as business needs dictate.
- Lead by example, and work alongside your team.
- Make appropriate product substitutions, as necessary.
- Communicate, daily, all issues that arise during the workday.
- Perform cycle counts on all daily shortages.
- Ensure receivers and shippers have the necessary tools to perform their jobs effectively.
- Report any mechanical issues to maintenance and management.
- Identify any deadstock items that need to be moved out.
- Supervise and coordinate the picking of orders.
- Coordinate the raw ingredients in advance and put in a designated location.
- Make sure that housekeeping and temperature logs are kept current.
- Train all new employees in proper warehouse procedures.
- Understand and do what it takes to get ahead.
- Perform any other function/job that may come up over your day, or as directed by management.
The Ideal Candidate will have the Following Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Prefer a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be literate.
- Must have computer knowledge.
- Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs. at a time.
- Must be able to work in a freezer.
- Willing to participate and demonstrate team effort.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to lift, stand, stoop where needed.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Bi-lingual a plus- English/Spanish
