Position: Head of Safety and Security
The Head of Safety and Security is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing Monogram Health's safety and security strategies across clinical and office environments. This role ensures the protection of employees, patients, facilities, and assets while fostering a culture of safety and compliance. The position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a secure and resilient organization.
Location: Onsite – Brentwood, TN
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Clinical and Office Security:
o Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols for clinical and office settings.
o Oversee the implementation of security systems, including surveillance, access control, and emergency response mechanisms.
o Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
o Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure patient safety and compliance with healthcare regulations.
o Manage relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services to enhance security measures.
· Facilities Management:
o Ensure the physical security of all Monogram Health facilities, including offices and clinical sites.
o Oversee maintenance and upgrades of security infrastructure, such as alarms, locks, and monitoring systems.
o Coordinate with facilities management teams to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
o Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
· Leadership and Collaboration:
o Lead and manage a team of security professionals, providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
o Act as a subject matter expert on safety and security for senior leadership and other departments.
o Prepare and present regular reports on safety and security metrics to the executive team.
o Foster a culture of safety awareness and accountability across the organization.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Facilities Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in safety and security roles, preferably in healthcare or corporate environments.
· Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA standards.
· Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and cross-functional projects.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
· Preferred Skills:
o Certification in security management (e.g., CPP, PSP).
o Experience with clinical safety protocols and patient care environments.
o Familiarity with facilities management software and tools.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
