Position: Revenue Cycle Analyst
Monogram Health is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist to support the Finance team out of our Brentwood, TN Headquarters. The role will report directly to the Director of Revenue Cycle.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform eligibility and benefits verification
- Perform data and charge entry
- Research and resolve rejections and billing claim edits
- Resolve unpostables
- Release held claims for credentialing
- Work an aging report, perform claim status with payer
- Resolve, dispute and appeal denials or underpayments
- Collect payment from patient and accurately record in the system
- Accurately process, resolve or disperse correspondence
- Investigate and resolve credit balances
- Properly notate patient accounts
- Assist with EDI, EFT and ERA payer enrollments
- Assist with testing, implementation, and review of new processes
- Special projects as assigned
Position Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in medical billing office setting
- Strong understanding of ICD-10, CPT, HCPC, and Modifier codes
- In-depth knowledge of insurance billing guidelines and industry best practices
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Organization, time management and the ability to prioritize
- Experience with Athena software strongly desired
- Strong and professional communication skills including writing, speaking and active listening.
- Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills including interpersonal conversation, patience, and empathy.
- Work independently and collaborate well with others.
