Material Handler/Forklift Operator
SCHEDULE: 1st shift 6am to 4:30 pm
Pay $18.50/hr
Job Description
- Complete the PIT inspection form daily.
- Load/unload trailers as assigned.
- Process and complete all proper documentation for the receipt/shipment of goods.
- Inbound/Outbound Trailer Inspection Form
- Production FG pallet listing
- Load Sheet for Outbound Shipments
- Receiving Tally for Inbound Receipts
- Verify counts on all pallets handled for accuracy
- Quantity
- Item Code
- Lot Code
- Pallet ID label
- Inspect all pallets handled for damage and quality and notify the Warehouse Supervisor of any issues identified
- Place product in proper locations in freezer based upon pallet size and weight
- Make sure that all warehouse supplies are properly stored
- Help with daily cycle counts and verify locations
- Maintain a safe, clean organized warehouse and freezer
- Pick and supply production with materials needed to process production
- Organize and consolidate warehouse storage areas daily to accommodate inbound material
- Participate and complete all training required (safety, quality, HR)
- And any other job that may come up in the course of your day as assigned by your supervisor
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Prefer high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be literate
- Must have computer knowledge
- Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs. at a time
- Must be able to work in a freezer
- Willing to participate and demonstrate team effort
- Good inter\personal and communications skills
- Must be able to lift, stand, and stoop where needed
