The AMER region currently accounts for a significant portion of our user base and global revenues. We are looking for an exceptional Sales leader to help us scale to the next level.The AMER sales team is responsible for landing new logos and expanding existing customers in the AMER region.What You'll Achieve : As the Manager, Commercial Sales , you will create a strategy to grow revenue across new and existing customers in the Commercial segment in the AMER region.You will recruit, develop and lead a team of Account Executives, overseeing day-to-day activity while setting clear expectations and coaching the team to unlock performance.Partner with regional leaders across Sales Strategy, Marketing and Sales Development teams to plan territory mapping and pipeline development programs.Partner with the Customer Success and Solutions Engineering teams to onboard new customers and refine our customer journey.You will work closely with our Marketing teams to drive insight into Ideal Customer Profile.Help build the foundations of Sales at Notion : As an early member of our sales org, you'll be instrumental in defining our sales assisted motions.Join a fantastic team at a pivotal time : We've achieved profitability and grown to over a hundred million users.Meaningfully shape our future product : As you engage with customers, you'll gain insights to help us serve them better.Elevate your skills as we tackle our most impactful challenges : We've achieved more than teams 10x our size in less time.Skills You'll Need to Bring : You are inspired by our mission : to help you build beautiful tools for your life’s workYou have 3 years experience as a direct sales leader / managerStrong track record of achieving sales targetsSkilled in managing and coaching through the full sales cycleYou have strong recognized leadership skills focused on empowerment and collaborationYou are comfortable with the ambiguity and pace of iteration of an early-stage startupYou have a growth mindset and thrive in the building stage of a nascent teamYou view setbacks as learning opportunitiesYou have a high EQ and exceptional interpersonal skillsYou have an analytical mindset and enjoy problem solvingYou have strong empathy for customers and passion for revenue and growthYou have a good understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business modelsNice to Haves : You've built new business sales playbooks or processesYou've been a first or early hire at a fast growing startup beforeExperience using Salesforce for accurate forecastingExperienced in hiring and training talent at scaleAbility to function in a “Player / Coach” capacity as we scale AMERWe hire talented and passionate people from a variety of backgrounds. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location and the candidate’s experience.
