Job Description :
MPS is seeking an HR Coordinator responsible for managing administrative tasks related to our HR Department (People Team). This role is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a motivated individual who is interested in starting their career in Human Resources. This is a temporary role based in San Jose, CA or Kirkland, WA.
Essential Functions :
- Manage administrative tasks related to the Human Resources department (People Team) including benefits, immigration, worker's compensation, employee records, onboarding, recruiting, and other duties as required.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with all applicable HR-related Local, State and Federal laws and reporting requirements.
- Assist with benefits administration - invoice reconciliation, open enrollment, Leave of Absence, etc.
- Manage and conduct new hire orientations- assist new hires in familiarizing with company policies and procedures, company benefits, etc.
- Assist with termination and new hire documents.
- Assist with immigration administration.
- Assist with administration of worker's compensation, OSHA, employee safety programs.
- Assist the recruiting team with scheduling interviews and coordinating aspects of the hiring process.
- Create and administer ad-hoc spreadsheets and other documents as needed.
- Data entry and maintain data integrity in HRIS.

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The hourly range for this position is $25-35.
