Seasonal part-time maintenance at Camp Muffly Park (3-4 positions available)
Purpose of Position
The applicant will assist the park superintendent and maintenance team with the weekday or weekend operation, security, and safety of the Park. Assist with building and grounds maintenance; ensures that property and facilities are maintained, and would help with park programs and events.
Interviews are anticipated to be conducted within two weeks of the closing date.
Why does the job exist?
The seasonal part-time maintenance is responsible for weekend assistance to the park superintendent with managing operations. This position also assists with visitors and completes facility, grounds, and equipment maintenance; collects and processes revenues, performs administrative functions, helps coordinates special events, and other duties as assigned.
Who are the customers?
The primary customer is the park visitor.
Ideal Candidate
The candidate must be able to perform in stressful situations requiring prompt decision-making with significant consequences. The candidate must have excellent communication, and organizational skills, and be able to provide outstanding customer service. Weekend availability is a must! Candidate must be available for ALL Saturdays and Sunday's until October, and additional workdays may be available.
