Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Automotive General Service Technician to join our team in Medina, United States. As a vital member of our automotive service center, you will perform a wide range of maintenance and repair services to ensure our customers' vehicles are safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance.

• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs
• Change, mount, and install tires, including wheel removal, tire repair, balance, and patch/plug repairs
• Carry out basic automotive maintenance work, such as battery installations and brake services
• Perform wheel alignments and scheduled maintenance services
• Communicate effectively with customers about their vehicle's needs and explain recommended services
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety procedures and regulations
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and service techniques
• Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Proven automotive experience, with a preference for Automotive Technician or Lube and Tire experience
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be at least {AGE} of age
• Ownership of a basic set of mechanic's tools, or willingness to participate in a tool purchase program
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive, collaborative attitude
• Physical ability to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and diagrams
• Commitment to ongoing learning and staying current with automotive technology advancements
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings, as required
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
