Location: Monroe, NC - Onsite
About Us: Monroe Biomedical Research is one of the highest-performing clinical research centers in the country, investigating therapies for the treatment of Asthma, COPD, Heart Failure, Diabetes, and COVID-19. We are preparing for an expansion of our operations within the next 6 to 12 months and are looking for ambitious Physician Assistants interested in getting involved with cutting-edge clinical research operations, investigating the next generation of therapies.
Position Overview: We seek driven and hardworking Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with experience in infusions, physical exams, and other study-related procedures to join our team.
Roles/Responsibilities: These include but are not limited to:
- Performing study procedures and collecting data from patients participating in clinical trials, including administering injections, immunizations, and other medical procedures.
- Assessing patient health through interviews, physical examinations, and ECG's.
- Reviewing and processing medical records.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Current Physician Assistant licensure in the state of North Carolina.
- National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification.
- Experience in clinical research or a strong interest in transitioning to this field.
- Familiarity with medical tools and equipment.
- Flexibility to perform procedures at unpredictable times and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working with COVID-positive patients.
- This is a fully onsite position
