About the RoleWeβre seeking a Patient Recruitment Coordinator to play a vital role in our research studies by engaging potential participants and guiding them through the enrollment process. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with a strong customer service mindset.
Key Responsibilitiesβ Participant Recruitment
- Contact and screen potential study participants via phone in an empathetic and professional manner.
- Maintain an up-to-date patient database and track recruitment progress.
- Educate patients about clinical trial opportunities and eligibility criteria.
- Schedule and coordinate patient screening visits.
β Screening & Enrollment
- Conduct initial assessments to determine study eligibility.
- Ensure all necessary pre-screening paperwork is completed accurately.
- Follow up with participants to confirm attendance and provide trial details.
β Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with the clinical operations team to ensure seamless coordination between recruitment and study teams.
- Maintain and update sponsor patient portals as needed.
β Data Management
- Accurately document participant interactions and recruitment activities in the database.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical guidelines in patient recruitment.
β Patient Advocacy
- Clearly explain trial procedures and address participant concerns.
- Uphold ethical standards in patient recruitment, following FDA guidelines and Good Clinical Practice.
Β β οΈ Experience in customer service, patient outreach, or a call-based role preferred.
βΒ Strong organizational skills to track multiple patient interactions and follow-ups.
β οΈ Bilingual (Spanish & English) highly preferred.
βΒ Positive and results-driven attitude with a strong sense of accountability.
β οΈ Knowledge of clinical trials or willingness to learn industry regulations.
