What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Clinical Instructor, provisional position at Monroe Community Hospital?
Job Summary
This is a senior-level professional nursing position responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring nursing education and orientation programs at Monroe Community Hospital. Responsibility also involves directing the facilities wound care program. This classification differs from the lower, Clinical Instructor in its responsibility for staff supervision and expanded scope. Work is conducted in accordance with mandatory education requirements and current nursing practices. The employee reports directly to and works under the general supervision of an administrative-level staff member. General supervision is exercised over a subordinate staff. Does related work as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma, plus EITHER:
(A) Graduation with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a clinical or healthcare related field, plus one (1) year paid full-time or its part-time equivalent experience developing and conducting clinical education programs, OR;
(B) Three (3) years paid full-time or its part-time equivalent experience developing and conducting clinical education programs, OR;
(C) An equivalent combination of education and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B) above
