Description
The primary purpose of this position is being responsible for crisis service, initial screenings, SUD screenings, coordinate intake appointments for persons meeting the medical necessity for services through the Monroe Community Mental Health Authority (MCMHA) with the Access Department and to provide short-term outpatient therapy to those individuals attending Monroe County Community College. The primary goal is to provide short term therapy, such as Brief Solution Focused Therapy, to youth/adults determined to have mild to moderate symptoms that would normally not be served by MCMHA and who experience psycho-social problems which impede adequate functioning in one or more of the following areas: school, work, community, family, interpersonal relationships. The Outpatient Therapist is responsible for delivery of direct and indirect service units consistent with qualitative and quantitative performance goals and standards established for short term outpatient services.
This position is eligible for a $3,000 sign on bonus
Qualifications
Master’s degree in social work or psychology with current Michigan licensure or certification as a LMSW, LLP or LPC. Experience in clinical assessment and providing short-term outpatient therapy to emotionally impaired youth/adults using individual, group and family modalities preferred.
Salary : $31 - $38
