Position Title: Director of Public Health Preparedness
Position Summary:
Incumbent is responsible for managing day-to-day needs of
assigned employees, translating department objectives into action
plans for employees, monitoring employee performance, ensuring
division required services are being provided and division goals are
being met, collecting and compiling data and submitting detailed
reports to Health Administrator, and ensuring emergency response
plans and protocols are up-to-date and in compliance with all local,
state, and federal requirements. This position requires working in
the office Monday-Friday, some evenings and weekends, and the
ability to report to work, outside of normal working hours, within 1
hour for public health emergencies.
Qualifications:
Baccalaureate Degree required in related fields of public health,
public policy, health science, or nursing with related experience.
Completion of assigned National Incident Management System
trainings within 30 days of hire.
Salary: Annual salary $65,665 plus benefits
Exempt; 40 hours; 8:00am-5:00pm., M-F; some evenings and
weekends
