Position Summary:
Some experience preferred. Will train a motivated candidate who is willing to learn. Can be flexible on workdays and hours. Workday begins at Karst Farm Park 2450 S. Endwright Rd. Bloomington, IN. Position #1 Monday - Friday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with an hour lunch. Average of 35 hours per week, March to October. Possibility of year long position. Duties may include athletic field or trail maintenance, mowing, weed eating, cleaning shelters & restrooms, picking up trash, talking to park visitors, operating motorized equipment, and other park maintenance duties as assigned. __________________________________________________________________ Position #2 Saturdays and/or Sundays: 6:00/7:00 AM to 11:00/Noon 5-hour shift per day, March to October. Possibility of year long position. Duties include cleaning restrooms, shelters & parks, driving in park vehicle to various parks, opening parks, picking up trash, talking to park visitors, and other park maintenance duties as assigned. Position #3 Monday- Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm with an hour lunch. Average of 35 hours per week, March to October. Duties include cleaning restrooms, shelters & parks, driving in a park vehicle to various parks, picking up trash, talking to park visitors, and other park maintenance duties as assigned. Qualifications:
Be at least 17 years old. Pass a criminal background check. Possess a valid driver’s license. Ability to lift at least 50lbs. Ability to work in the heat, cold, & wet conditions Upbeat personality & gets along with others. Comfortable around dogs & enjoys working outdoors
Salary:
$15.00 to $16.00 per hour. Per hour rate depends on experience. Deadline for Application:
