Work includes monitoring, operating and data collections analysis activities including monitoring field crew activities related to processes in the field. This position differs from Systems Operator-Wastewater due to the lack of responsibility for coordinating data collection analysis activities and general office supervision and management. The employee reports directly to, and works under the general supervision of the Systems Operator-Wastewater or other higher-level staff member. Does related work as required.Minimum QualificationsGraduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma, plus EITHER : (A) Two (2) years paid full-time or its part-time equivalent experience in monitoring, operating or maintaining sewer collection or treatment systems; OR,(B) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; OR,(C) An equivalent combination of education and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and, (B) above.Download / View Full AnnouncementApply Online
